Jessica Sole and The Badlands

Jessica Sole is a country musician and songwriter based out of the GTA. Jessica is a multi instrumentalist and is working towards her bachelor degree in music at Humber College, majoring in voice. As well as being a vocal major, she is self taught on guitar, ukulele and piano. Jessica is influenced by many incredible women in country music including: Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert, Allison Krauss, and the Dixie Chicks. Her influences shine through in her original songs, but do not overpower her own unique musical voice. Jessica has been performing since she was 10 in the Caledon area, and now sings lead vocals in the band Jessica Sole and The Badlands.

Jessica Sole and The Badlands are a 6 piece country group based out of the GTA. The name of the band pays homage to the Badlands in Caledon, which is Jessica’s hometown. The instrumentation in the group consists of voice, fiddle, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, and drums. Though each member is from a different part of Ontario, they all met while studying music at Humber College, and have been playing country music together for over 2 years now. Being from Canada, they have a current "North of Nashville” sound. Jessica Sole and The Badlands cover a wide range of country music from new country, to classics everyone loves, to Canadian country music.
